Tough Kids

On Wednesday Nov the 20th me and my hub and paiakae and kapok all went to have fun and get wet and muddied. It was so much fun because we all got really soaked in mud and in water. We also had to go on our hands and keens to go thorough some of the obstacles and we had to wad  thorough the water and some people ran thorough the water. but the good thing is that if we needed to we could skip as many obstacles as we needed to. I think that the people that were running the event let us skip some of the obstacles in case we  thought we could not do the obstacle. Here is a pic of  how crowded it looked and the hard thing was that it was so hot so am so happy that we did Tough kids on that hot day and it was so really cool and nice to be covered in water and mud

INNOVATION

in term three we have gone thore more challenges and what we did was a thing were we had to make a device that can retry a balloon. What my group made was a thing that can get a balloon from three meters away. What we did was make a circle of newspaper and we had string taped to the circle  so we could try and loop  the circle of the newspaper on to the balloon to get it.

athletics

on Thursday the 5 of September me and 49 another students came to do athletics in the hall and it was really cool and fun and the peoples names that were teaching us were Milli and Junior and it was so cool. the Stuff we did were epic. First the girls went with Milli and the boys went with Junior 
what we did with Milli was a obstacle course that we had to keep 

the Museum

On Monday September the 16th me and my whole hub went to the museum and we had to learn about the past and it was really cool. My favorite part was when we had to use Maori inventions from the past. this tool I am using in this photo is a drill from the past as it was a Maori invention. My other favorite

Over the past few weeks we have been learning to write both informal letters and formal letters. 

Here is an example of a letter I wrote about a political event in New Zealand,s  past 

I'm writing to ask if you could change the the rights for women so 

they can have the same rights as men so we  could vote and do everything that men can do 

so when you get this letter can you please have second thoughts about the rights you have given the men and the rights you have given the women. the other reason why I am right writing to you is because I am trying to tell you that you need to change the rights that women have because we don't  won't to stay at home and cook and clean all day well the men have jobs to do.

term 3 PBL innovation

in my hub we have bin rotating class in our hub to learn about different things, it was a different thing in each class, in one class it was a float your boat and what you had to do was to build a boat that can by using tape, plastic cups, stores, paper, tinfolly and the boat that I did was called butterfly boat and we called it butterfly boat because we used the cups to make it look like the butterfly boat.

In the next one we had to make a car out of tape a balloon and you could only have one balloon so if it was to pop then to bad you don't have a balloon and you could also youse paper and string but the cool  thing to me was that you could not touch the car so me and my group came up with a new Idea which was that we would tape a peci of paper to the car then we had to caerv the peci of paper so we could blow the car to the other sied of the tabl.

winter sport. :)

This year for winter sports I played netball. Our team  mostly lost, but in are second to last game,  my we won that game because three year 6 girls came and stepped in for my team because the twins and another girl that was in my team were, on holiday. So we had a great game and I scored five good goals and the other three girls got us some goals  as always. So if you want to see what my team looks like, look down below in the photo. :)

Now that I have learned  that I am very good netball player and so are my team, we can play a good game together and I think I want to do netball again. :)
